The idea behind Ulu Bags originally came to life in beautiful Bali. We’re travel enthusiasts and in awe of the people and communities that we have had the privilege to visit. In 2020, we visited a community of Balinese women who were creating these unique rattan bags and were inspired by their stories. We  wanted to find a way to bring these bohemian designs to you while supporting these women. 

We decided to create bags that are trendy yet minimal, and the perfect piece for any occasion - whether it be hanging out at the beach, on vacation or completing your day-to-night look. When you receive your bag, you’ll notice uncompromising quality and detail. You can also feel good knowing that your bag is cruelty-free, vegan and sustainable, which sets us apart from other brands. To support the women creating these bags, and other women around the world, a portion of your purchase is donated to the CARE organization. CARE helps women and girls in developing countries lift themselves, and their families, out of poverty and out of crisis.
